My Own Friend’s Brother Chains His Dog!
So I write about animal cruelty, donate money, time and talk about animal abuse topics but it finally has hit home on a personal level! One of my best friend’s brothers chains his dog! OMG, what am I going to do! 24 hours a day 7 days a week that poor German shepard is outside in the cold all day. From my understanding that is how this little guy has lived his entire life since he was a puppy.

I have been thinking about it the last few days and it very well could be the beginning of the end of a good friendship however the safety of the dog comes first! I spoke to my girlfriend about it and she knows I am going to attempt to get the dog from her brother without getting anyone else involved. I have been researching the internet to see what other legal tactics I can use to help this dog. I have heard of organizations that will assist in talking to the owners to educate them on the cruelty of chaining dogs. My thoughts on that is, if you are so heartless that you can chain a dog and his sad little eyes cannot change your mind then there is little possibility of human changing it.
If anyone has any suggestions please, please let me know!

OMG, that is so cruel! Why keep a dog if all he’s going to do is chain it?
Have you tried speaking to your best friend’s brother? Or perhaps your best friend should speak to her brother and let him know what he’s doing is wrong.
If all else fails, perhaps you should call on the authorities to handle the matter.

oh my, this is sad. Then he should not have a pet at all..
Well about the organization thing would be good too. the owner should be educated as well on how to properly take care of a dog.
Animals have feelings too.

Oh, this breaks my heart. I hope you are able to help that beautiful dog. I will never understand how people think it’s okay to do this.

Some people just don’t get it. They are heartless. Good luck trying to help.

You really have to wonder why people actually have Dogs when they treat them like this.
Sure, as a guard Dog it may be a slight detterent but a Dog inside the house is much more effective than a chained Dog.
How can anyone not find time in their day to play with their Dog and walk it. This is how so many fine animals spirits and joy for life are gradually eroded.
I hope you find a solution to this.

Oh my gosh…this is sad. Sadly tho, many animals are treated like this and worse. I do not understand why somebody would own a pet if they do not even care about it or do not enjoy having it around, so they stick it outside. Maybe the dog is used to it, but it is still extremely sad. Very many animals are being killed for fur and are being killed in gruesome ways. They are beaten to death with sticks and stomped upon…animal cruelty needs to stop. They are here for us, and in less they are treated abusively will they behave badly.

Why have a pet at all if you are not willing to treat them like family and take care of them properly?

This is such a sad, sad story. It’s so upsetting to know that some people have dogs around just to have some kind of Control over another being. I really hope that you are able to help this poor dog. Best of luck.

This is so sad. I know how heartbreaking it must be for you for all the work you do and something like this is so close to home.

It is sad how cruel some people treat their pets. If this is what they plan to do to a dog why get a dog in the first place? I hope you figure something out to help this dog.

it’s awful that people do this to animals.
I’m from Holland and about a week i’m gonna give a presentation of animal abuse.
people have to see that this is not normal!
animals have a different name then people, but there feelings are the same.
i wish you luck and i hope this dog will have a good life in the future!
